I am going to change self-worth to divine
potential. In Doctrine and Covenants section
18 verse 10 it reads, "Remember the worth of the souls is great in the
sight of God." I know I have a divine potential and my Heavenly Father has
a plan for me. The adversary tries on a daily basis to drag me down, he doesn't
want me to progress wants me give up on the plan of happiness and to succumb to
his will. I love what Elder Perry said "You
are not competing with anyone else. You are only competing with yourself to do
the best with whatever you have received." It is important to remind
myself that I am a daughter of God who loves me to return to him. I need to be positive and remember everything
will work out I just need to do my best and endure to the end. I feel part of finding
my self-worth is getting lost in the service of others. My goal for Self-worth is to find
the joy in the journey. Looking for the good in each day will the spirit in to
life me up.
"Our destiny is not determined by the number of times we stumble but by the number of times we stand up, dust ourselves off, and stride forward."
Dieter F. Uchtdorf October 2013 General Conference "You Can Do It Now!"
"May I suggest that you reduce the rush and take a little extra time to get to know yourself better. Walk in nature, watch a sunrise, enjoy God’s creations, ponder the truths of the restored gospel, and find out what they mean for you personally. Learn to see yourself as Heavenly Father sees you—as His precious daughter or son with divine potential."
Dieter F. Uchtdorf October 2010 General Conference "Of Things That Matter Most"
“Please don’t nag yourselves with thoughts of failure. Do not set goals far beyond your capacity to achieve. Simply do what you can do in the best way you know how and the Lord will accept your effort."
