Agency is a gift from God. How we
choose to use our agency will determine our destiny. It is best to follow Christ
and his teachings. I know it may seem to be a lot of work but we will blessed

consequences but we are able to repent and come back to him. I will use my
agency to gain my own testimony of the Savior and to come unto Christ. I am
grateful for the fall because without it I would not know good from evil and
happiness and sadness. My goal for Agency is to use my time
wisely. I will continue to learn about Christ and follow his teachings.

"We are taught that “men are instructed sufficiently that they know good from evil. This sacred instruction began in the heavens. There, in a Grand Council, our Heavenly Father would continue the gift of agency to prove us here in mortality, “to see if [we] will do all things whatsoever the Lord [our] God shall command.”

"We are blessed with agency, which is our ability to make decisions and to become accountable for those decisions. The Fall made possible in our lives feelings of both happiness and sadness. We are able to understand peace because we feel turmoil."

"We have implanted in our souls a desire to be free. The Lord understood this when He granted us our mortal probation. With that freedom, however, comes accountability. We are instructed not to idle away our time nor bury our talents and not use them. We are expected to make our lives better through our own initiatives and efforts. We must find our own relationship with our Eternal Father. We must gain our own testimony. We must decide whether to conform our lives to the Lord’s standards."

"The pamphlet For the Strength of Youth contains the following counsel, approved by the First Presidency for the youth of the Church: “You are responsible for the choices you make. God is mindful of you and will help you make good choices, even if your family and friends use their agency in ways that are not right. Have the moral courage to stand firm in obeying God’s will, even if you have to stand alone. As you do this, you set an example for others to follow.”
